I have a fun freebie for you today! These will definitely require your child to use his/her imagination, but this free printable download will let them make letters into animals. They can also practice writing the name of the animal with the traceable letters found on each page.
Here’s how:
- Print out the PDF. You can choose to print on cardstock or just regular paper.
- Depending on your child’s age, you can help them cut out the pieces for each animal (or they can do it independently).
- Color each part.
- Glue the “animal parts” on each letter as desired or glue down the letter to a piece of construction paper and add the pieces on top.
- Be creative!

That would be a great idea! I’m not sure if I can get to it for a little while but thank you for the recommendation!

I totally agree with Ashley. Love the idea but not sure with some of the letters where the pieces should go. Would love a brief idea and we can go from there. Thank you.

Love the printable, but just want to note that Dinosaur is spelled incorrectly on the writing practice on ‘D’
